CHAMBER and FILM MUSIC (2008 – 2011)

Trained in classical choral singing and piano since age 7, Alisa never intended to pursue a career in classical music domain, and yet have never fully abandoned it.

After move to the USA she studied orchestral composition and film scoring with Hummie Mann (“Robin Hood: Men in Tights”, “Language of the Heart”, “Sleepless in Seattle, “Simpsons”) at the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program (2006-2008); and then (2010 – 2012) mastered chamber music composition in directed studies with Tibor Pusztai, composer and conductor from Hungary. The singer acknowledged on repeated occasions that learning classical composition impacted her writing, arranging and improvisation in other genres.
