"CONJECTURES", is a multicultural avant-garde musical project, consisting of Berklee alumni (Kameron Christopher (alto sax), Emi Inaba (piano), Marte Roel (guitar, laptops)) and Berklee students (Deepak Gopinath (drums) and Alisa Apreleva (voice and cello)). The music philosophy of the project is rooted in polystylistyc improvisation and based on sonic meditation as a shared experience.
The band originated at Berklee in the spring 2010, and, after mutiple rehearsals and several successful live performances around Berklee, the band went on tour to Mexico for August / September 2010. The concert schedule of the tour was as follows:
